The Resource Room (# 217) is available to support all students, with a Resource teacher available to help students all periods of the day. Students with an Individual Education Plan (I.E.P.) will become well acquainted with the Resource Room as a place to get extra help and as one of many places to use technology to do their school work. Many students use the Resource Room because it is a quiet, comfortable place where they can focus and get assignments or tests completed without distraction. The Specialized School to Community (SSTC) pathway is designed for students with special needs who will become part of the community when they leave Collegiate. Throughout the years that students typically spend with us, the focus is on literacy and numeracy skills while developing social skills and independence.
