May is Speech-Language and Hearing awareness month. In order to celebrate the unique ways that students with hearing loss and other communication disorders show up in the world we are inviting all students and staff to participate in DRESS LOUD Day on May 14. Staff and students are asked to dress in their LOUDEST and BRIGHTEST clothing. Prizes will be awarded to staff and students who have the loudest outfits.

We have a week full of fun activities planned during lunch:

Tuesday: Show off your voice and dancing at Karaoke in the Auditorium.
Wednesday: Visit the front hallway and add your name to our world map.

St. Catharines Collegiate will have a booth at the St. Catharines Farmers Market downtown on Thursday, May 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM!
Make sure to tell your family and friends to come out and see the amazing craftsmanship and creativity of our talented students. We'll be selling kids Adirondack chairs, custom-order corn hole boards, wooden coasters, delicious pizza, tarts, baguettes, prints of the school painted in watercolour and so much more!
Plus – on May 1st, we’ll be showcasing the awesome products made during our TAB Competition. You won't want to miss it!

Prom Tickets will be for sale today in room 220 - Mrs. Koster's classroom across from the resource room from 11:00am until 11:25am.
If you want to come, however, do not have money with you today, please come and see Mrs. Koster today at lunch for a permission form and to have your name added to the list. We will not be extending sales beyond tomorrow.

We begin this gathering by acknowledging the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. Today this gathering place is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.

Prom will be hosted at St. Catharines Collegiate, this venue holds a special place in our hearts, as it’s not just any location; it’s our beloved school where we've spent countless hours learning, growing, and creating unforgettable memories together.
Please purchase a ticket to prom in the Makerspace room 214 to join in the fun. The last day to purchase tickets will be tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6. Tickets are $45 per person.
Remember we need to sell 50 tickets to make this event happen.
