ANNOUNCEMENTS: March 27, 2025 - Friday

We begin this gathering by acknowledging the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. Today this gathering place is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.

Attention all athletes: If you are hoping to play a Spring Sport this year, and you did not start here in September of grade 9 and have not played on a school team, you need to come see Ms. Mauro ASAP to get your started or to check where you are on the transfer process. If you do not go through transfer, you cannot play sports - no exceptions. The deadline for the next transfer window is Friday, March 27th.

This is an important announcement for all math club members and any students who have requested to write the upcoming Waterloo Math Competitions! There will be a mandatory meeting in room 212 on Monday, March 30th to go over final preparations for the contests!

This is a reminder that we have a Level Up OSSLT Workshop today for our rewriting students during Period 1 in room 309. Any students that are in this workshop should go to room 309 now.

The Equity Council is made up of students and staff that are working together to help continue creating a safe and inclusive School by recognizing Days of Significance and providing a voice to all. Special Olympics St. Catharines is looking for volunteers. They need help with their bowling, basketball, swimming and figure skating programs. If you are interested in supporting individuals with special needs and are looking to build your experiences for post-secondary or job opportunities, please see Ms. Banders in Guidance for more information and to sign up.

Attention Student Leaders: WonderLead Leadership Conference Opportunity.

This leadership day is an opportunity for students to gain transferable leadership skills, and enjoy time at Wonderland.

This opportunity is open to all St. Catharines Collegiate students who demonstrate leadership, responsibility and a commitment to our school community.

The first 40 students who submit completed permission forms and pay fees will be able to attend. To learn more, see Mrs. Koster.

REMINDER: Permission forms and full payment must be submitted by Thursday, April 9.
