A reminder that Equity Council is meeting on Thursdays in the Large Art room. The Equity Council is made up of students and staff that are working together to help continue creating a safe and inclusive School by recognizing Days of Significance and providing a voice to all. Ready to shred? Join us for a hands-on Pizza Making Workshop focused on food, fun, and inclusivity.
Workshop Date: Wednesday, February 11, 2026
Time: 2:20 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: Bakeshop
Teacher: Ms. Acott
What’s happening:
- Make your own personal pizza from scratch
- Take home a fresh-baked pizza
- Receive a ball of dough to bake at home
- Spend time getting connected with Collegiate
This workshop is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to everyone. Whether you come with friends or on your own, you are welcome and you belong. The goal is to build positive connections across our school community and make great food!
Who can participate:
Students, teachers, support staff, and admin are all encouraged to join. All skill levels are welcome.
Cost: $5
Sign-up deadline: Tuesday, February 3rd.
Permission forms: Available on the Makerspace door and can be returned to the Makerspace or Guidance.

Congratulations to the senior boys’ basketball team for their commanding win over Eden yesterday. The boys lead the entire game 19 to 3 after the first quarter and 31 to13 at half time. They played like a team and each and every player delivered while on the court and showed amazing effort. Congratulations on another win! Let’s keep this rolling. The senior boys host Westlane in our gym on Thursday after school. Come out and support!
ANNOUNCEMENTS: February 2, 2025 - Monday
We begin this gathering by acknowledging the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. Today this gathering place is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.
