Congratulations to the Senior Boys Basketball team on their strong, convincing win against Thorold yesterday. The energy and teamwork was the best of the season! Special shoutouts to Gian leading the scoring and dropping some monster 3's, Kadmiel for his best game of the season, Kam for always keeping things interesting, and Soran and Sean for their continuous and impressive hard work on both sides of the court. Today we are starting off with a pancake breakfast! You must go to your period 1 class for attendance then head to cafeteria for breakfast. Period 2 is the school holiday assembly. Please go to your period 2 class for attendance and WAIT TO BE CALLED DOWN. There is the free lunch in the cafeteria during lunch break. Period 3 is a regular class. Period 4 you must go to for attendance first. Then there are a variety of activities you can choose from in the library, auditorium and main gym.

Good morning Saints. The Multicultural club would like to acknowledge many holiday celebrations happening in the month of December. Hanukkah, an important holiday in the Jewish community is celebrated between Dec. 24th to January 2nd. Las Posados, is celebrated in Latin America, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and is typically celebrated each year between December 16 and December 24. Christmas is a widely celebrated holiday observed in many parts of the world and is celebrated on December 25th. Finally, Kwanzaa is an annual celebration of African-American culture from December 26 to January 1, culminating in a communal feast called Karamu. Whatever you are celebrating this season, the Multicultural Club wishes you all a safe and happy holidays.

Aapex Driving Academy is holding their Holiday Contest again this year. Learn to drive and get your license four months earlier. Fill out a contest ballot in the main office, anytime except during class time. Contest closes tomorrow, December 17th. The winner will receive $200 off the Aapex Beginner Driver Education Program. Hey everyone! Get ready for some festive fun! The annual Door Decorating Contest is here, and this year, we’re leaving the creativity in your hands!
Here’s how it works:
Who can participate? This contest is open to Period 3 classes only! Each class is encouraged to decorate their classroom door in the most creative and festive way possible!
Judging: Our wonderful custodians will judge the doors next Thursday, December 19the after school based on the following categories:
* Creativity (How artistic is the design?)
* Effort (How much coverage does the door have?)
* Resourcefulness (Did you use reused materials?)
* Room for Improvement (Doors that are blank or minimally decorated will still be entered into a draw for a chance to win, but we encourage you to decorate!)
PRIZE: After the results are revealed, the winning Period 3 teacher will receive a special treat for their class—Timbits after lunch! So - get creative and make it count!
Let’s see which class can turn their door into the most festive masterpiece! Happy Decorating!
