We begin this gathering by acknowledging the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. Today this gathering place is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.

Niagara Region Public Health is having a Vaccination Clinic on Thursday, February 19th.

This is for students who need to update their vaccines based on a letter from Niagara Region Public Health. Bring your immunization record (yellow card) if you have one. Wear a loose-fitting t-shirt and eat breakfast or a snack before the clinic.

A reminder that Equity Council is meeting today at lunch in the Large Art room. The Equity Council is made up of students and staff that are working together to help continue creating a safe and inclusive School by recognizing Days of Significance and providing a voice to all. Special Olympics St. Catharines is looking for volunteers. They need help with their bowling, basketball, swimming and figure skating programs. If you are interested in supporting individuals with special needs and are looking to build your experiences for post-secondary or job opportunities, please see Ms. Banders in Guidance for more information and to sign up.

Many older adults experience loneliness or isolation, especially around holidays, and your card can brighten someone’s day. This is a simple and meaningful way to spread kindness and give back to our community. Bring your lunch, and your creativity!

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Volleyball team on a successful tournament yesterday at Eastdale and Franco Niagara!

An important announcement for all girls on the team: We will have a lunch time practice on Tuesday, in anticipation for our quarter final playoff game. Reminder we are expecting to play our quarter final game that same Tuesday, after school. Exact details on this game will be shared as soon as possible. PIZZA MAKING WORKSHOP – EVERYONE’S INVITED

Ready to shred? Join us for a hands-on Pizza Making Workshop focused on food, fun, and inclusivity.

Workshop Date: Wednesday, February 11, 2026
Time: 2:20 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: Bakeshop

What’s happening:
- Make your own personal pizza from scratch
- Take home a fresh-baked pizza
- Receive a ball of dough to bake at home
- Spend time getting connected with Collegiate

This workshop is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to everyone. Whether you come with friends or on your own, you are welcome and you belong. The goal is to build positive connections across our school community and make great food!
