The Equity Council is made up of students and staff that are working together to help continue creating a safe and inclusive School by recognizing Days of Significance and providing a voice to all. Do you have dental insurance? Public Health dental team will be here the morning of Friday, January 16th to provide a free dental screening. Students 17 years and under may qualify for dental services such as cleanings or emergency dental care. Find out if you are eligible!

Your Senior boys’ basketball team kicked off 2026 with an impressive win over Thorold Secord school last night. The boys played fantastic team basketball, putting on a show breaking the press and moving the ball with speed and smarts. When the game got close in the last few minutes the team showed strength and resiliency, building each other up and putting in the effort needed to win. Shoutout to Gian for his unbelievable passes, controlling the floor and timely baskets, Sean for his never wavering effort, Gabe and Soran for their grit and rebounding and Daulton for always giving it his all when he is on the court-- diving for loose balls, and always showing that little bit of extra effort. Congratulations! Our next game is after school on Thursday here at Collegiate, come out and watch some exciting basketball action.

We begin this gathering by acknowledging the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. Today this gathering place is home to many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.
