Good morning Saints! Welcome to Day 3 of Multicultural week. It was so wonderful to see our hallways filled with proud cultural attire yesterday. We look forward to seeing you all this afternoon for the Saints Cup!. Remember, you are to go to your period 3 class after lunch

Attention students, please inform your families that St. Catharines Collegiate will have a Farmers Market booth in St. Catharines tomorrow from 9 am to 1 pm.

There will be a variety of bake goods, and woodworking and metal work gifts. Consider picking up a gift for Mother's Day or an early graduation gift.

Students on spare period 2 or 3 we encourage you to walk down, say hello. Consider picking up lunch while you are there.

A reminder that Equity Council is meeting on Thursdays in the Large Art room. The Equity Council is made up of students and staff that are working together to help continue creating a safe and inclusive School by recognizing Days of Significance and providing a voice to all. Reminder to Senior Students: Join your peers at the Lanterns of Tomorrow Prom as you celebrate your accomplishments and friendships you have created as a Collegiate Saint.

Tickets are $25 per person and will be sold from April 22 to May 22. Tickets are only being sold on sale on School Cash Online; if this is an issue please see Mrs. Koster. School Cash Online can be found on our school website.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Koster.

 It's that time of the year to celebrate Saint Athletics! Our athletic banquet will be happening after school this year on Tuesday, June 2nd. Your coaches will be sending a google form to your student email address to RSVP for the event. Please make sure you do this by May 23rd. This event is open to all students are participated in athletics this year at Collegiate and the coaches.

Congratulations Collegiate Ultimate athletes on a fantastic day at the tournament on Monday. it was a competitive day but you pulled off two great victories against Thorold and Laura Secord. Saints, please congratulate the Ultimate team as they will be heading to SOSSA on May 19th! Congrats!!!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Nothing Left Undead on a fantastic opening night performance. Shows continue tonight and tomorrow night at 7pm in the auditorium. Doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $5 for students and seniors. $10 for adults and can be purchased at the door. A reminder to the cast and crew that you will not have access to the auditorium or dressing room until your call time at 5pm.

Get ready Saints! Today is the Saints Cup during Periods 3 and 4! Students will be competing alongside their Period 3 classmates for the full event, for the chance to be awarded the Saints Cup!

Before the event begins, there will be a free BBQ lunch for all students today. After lunch, all students are required to report to their Period 3 class for attendance. Please do not go directly to the football field.

There will be lots of exciting activities throughout the afternoon, including tug-of-war, relay races, wet sponge races, cornhole, carnival games, face painting and henna, a photobooth, and much more. The day will wrap up with a final soccer match between the top two teams to determine who will take home the Saints Cup!

A few reminders:

* Stay with your team throughout the event
* Bring your own water bottle
* Dress appropriately for the weather
* Most importantly — have fun and show your school spirit!

Good luck to all teams, and may the best Saints win!

Remember - all students are required to report to their Period 3 class for attendance before the Saints Cup begins.

Help Us Build the "Lanterns of Tomorrow" for Prom.

Hey everyone! As we get closer to the big night, we need your creative energy to make this year’s Prom truly unforgettable. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us build some of the props. Volunteers can be students and/or staff.

We are meeting on Wednesday, May 27th from 2:15 pm – 4:00 pm in the Maker Space room.

Why Volunteer? Not only do you get a "behind-the-scenes" look at the decor, but you can also collaborate in the fun of event decorating.

Ready to light the way? Please sign up in Mrs. Kosters Classroom (220) by Friday, May 22nd or send her an email. Let’s make Prom a night to remember.
