Students, are you looking for ideas on how to get your community involvement hours? The Downtown Niagara Business Improvement Association is in need of volunteers for the Santa Claus parade. Volunteers are needed on November 13th from 3 to 6 p.m. It is a fun and easy way to earn some of your hours. There are lots of jobs available and many of them involve an elf costume! If you have questions or are interested in signing up, please see Ms. Banders in Guidance for more details.

Congratulations to the Girls Basketball Team on their exciting OVERTIME win yesterday against Stamford! Your coaches are so proud of your hard work and perseverance. Shout outs to the top scorers of Kanaan Patrong, Kenzie Gomer and Emily Privensal, as well as to Shay Youngblut, Bioncah Norville and Hayley Smith for their key defensive efforts. Well done everyone! See you at practice on Monday!

Congratulations to the Collegiate football team who played a tough game against Grimsby last night and demonstrated tremendous growth in all areas of the game. Offensive shout outs to Cole as quarterback for a strong performance. Dalton with 16 years rushing and Cam with 50 yards rushing. Defensive shout outs go to Jacob with fumble recovery. This the third career game causing a turnover in each game. Also strong performances from Connor and James on defense. Great work boys. See everyone tonight at practice.

The Girls Basketball Team put forth a strong effort against in their first basketball game of the season yesterday. And although they came up just 4 points short on the final scoreboard, their coaches are very proud of their effort, determination, and support of each other during the whole game. Shout outs to Bioncah for her hustle on defense and being the beast under the boards, to Emily and Kenzie for all of their offensive drives, and to Shaylene for scoring her first points of high school basketball. Well done!
