COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT HOURS UPDATE:
2020-21 Graduates
For students graduating in the 2020-21 school year, the requirement has been adjusted to a minimum of 20 hours.
All Students in the 2020-21 School Year
More flexible options are available for community involvement hours. At the principal’s discretion:
- Students may be allowed to earn hours during the time allotted for the school day, or duties normally performed in the home. Examples include walking a younger child to and from school, helping younger siblings with schoolwork.
- Students aged 14 or older can count a maximum of 10 hours from paid employment. Students counting paid employment will be required to complete a reflection exercise indicating how their work contributed to the service for others.

STUDENT ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS:
VERY IMPORTANT! As per public health guidelines, the following 2 Steps must be followed on your scheduled day prior to being permitted to access the school:
Step 1: All students MUST complete the Ontario COVID -19 Self-Assessment on your scheduled day prior to coming into the school. The link is included in the google doc below.
Step 2: Once you have completed the self-assessment tool, you MUST complete the following declaration via this google form:

Confirmation of both the assessment and declaration completion on your scheduled day will be verified at the school prior to allowing locker access.
