If you are planning on going to university or college after you graduate from the Collegiate, you may want to consider joining the Advanced Placement Program. This program started at C.I. in 2004/05. This program gives you have the opportunity to earn credit or advanced standing at most of the North America's colleges and universities. There are 37 courses and exams across 22 subject areas. The only requirements are a strong curiosity about the subject you plan to study and the willingness to work hard. Here is how the program works: 2) While studying that course, you’ll be given extra work on top of your regular workload which will prepare you for the AP exam. Student workbooks can be ordered (cost varies). 3) You’ll write the AP exam in May. (There is a cost of approximately $100 per exam.) 4) If you pass the exam you may be earn credit or advanced standing at many of North America's colleges and universities.
