ADVANCE REGISTRATION & TIMETABLE PICKUP FOR RETURNING AND NEW PRE-ENROLLED GRADE 10 - 12 STUDENTS will be on Wednesday, August 31 and Thursday, September 1 and 2, 2011 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.. Please see the summer letter for more information.

STUDENTS NEW TO THE COLLEGIATE must contact the school in advance to arrange an appointment for an admission interview with the Principal or Vice-Principal. All new students will be required to provide proof of age, address, and citizenship as well as an official transcript of previously earned credits. Students transferring from another District School Board of Niagara secondary school will also be required to provide a completed transfer form from their previous school.

STUDENT VERIFICATION FORM is enclosed and must be completed, signed, and submitted at time of registration.

REGISTRATION FEES are payable at time of registration. The fees cover the cost of your student activity card, daily planner, and a yearbook. Registration fees are $35 and debit will be available. Yearbooks are $25 and are optional.

THE GUIDANCE OFFICE will be open during registration hours should students require any timetable changes.

FIRST DAY OF CLASSES is Tuesday, September 6, 2011. All students are expected to report to their Period 1 class by 8:10AM. The first day of classes will be a regular school day with dismissal at 2:10PM.

SCHOOL UNIFORM attire may be obtained from the R. J. McCarthy outlet located at 30 Thorncliff Drive in St. Catharines. They include embroidered long and short sleeved golf shirts and blouses. Embroidered sweatshirts, t-shirts and belts are optional accessories. For more information, please call the outlet at 905-688-3030. All students are required to wear Collegiate attire to gain access to class beginning with the first day of school. Uniform attire must be worn appropriately while at school (door to door - 8:00AM-4:00PM) or while involved with school functions, activities or field trips, unless otherwise stated.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIFORMS are compulsory for those students taking Grade 9, 10, and 11 Physical Education. A package consisting of a t-shirt and a pair of shorts may be purchased from your Physical Education teacher.

LOCKERS will be assigned by your Period 1 teacher on the first day of school. Please do not claim a locker in advance. All lockers must be secured using a combination lock. Dudley combination locks are available for sale in the Main Office.

SCHOOL PICTURES will be taken during the month of September – please listen to the announcements for details. All students must have their pictures taken for their student cards and for school record purposes. Photo packages are optional – brochures will be available at registration.
